Abuja-based artist-producer Raytheboffin releases ‘Lifeline’, an infectious and innovative groove alongside 3kene and Tim Lyre, his first single of 2023. Originally hailing from the cooler urban climes of Jos, Raytheboffin is one of the most exciting names coming out of Nigeria’s alté scene, his sound synonymous with experimentation and innovation. His recent feature on Suté Iwar’s debut album with THE PLEASURE PRINCIPLE has been an absolute stand-out on that project, and now Ray is readying his fans for an onslaught of new music this year. ‘Lifeline’ is the first single from Ray’s forthcoming EP, Freckles, which sees features from TwelveXII, Yimeeka, gardenotgod and his Riverays collaborator Iver Rivers.
